Sidewalk Assessments

Overview

Sidewalk assessments examine the availability, accessibility, and connectivity of pedestrian networks. They include information about sidewalk and crosswalk features and conditions collected in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. SRPC conducts these assessments using UNH’s SADES program. Assessments are completed at the request of municipal staff. Dues-paying municipalities can receive this service for no charge, while non-dues-paying municipalities can receive this service under contract.

SRPC recently conducted a basic inventory of sidewalk conditions throughout the entire region.  Please contact SRPC to request the availability of this data.
