COVID-19 Recovery

Overview

In 2020, the Strafford Regional Planning Commission received a grant under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or, CARES Act, was passed by Congress on March 27th, 2020. Work under this EDA CARES Act Recovery Assistance will support authorized activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, or respond to economic injury as a result of coronavirus. Activities are intended to prevent further economic damage by providing information and technical assistance to at-risk businesses and industries, while also adding capacity to municipalities to ensure resilient and efficient municipal operations in the face of tightening budgets.
