Coordinated Transit Plan Update 2023

The purpose of the Coordinated Public Transit & Human Services Transportation Plan for the Southeast NH Region is to create a comprehensive strategic approach to improving transportation access through coordination among public transit and private non-profit and for-profit human service transportation providers. The Coordinated Plan update process is designed to identify ways to enhance transportation access, to minimize duplication of services, and to encourage the most cost-effective transportation possible. The Coordinated Plan is a strategic tool as well as an implementation document.

For this update, SRPC worked with Rockingham Planning Commission and COAST to engage with regional human service agencies, conduct demographic needs analysis, and develop goals and objectives to improve public transportation services in the region.

The final Coordinated Transit Plan was approved at the SRPC Policy Meeting on April 21, 2023.
