Energy

Overview

The energy sector is vulnerable to climate change threats, but the New England region provides a national example of successful interstate cooperation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Federal, state, and local incentives are enabling municipalities, property owners, and businesses to reduce costs by generating clean energy from renewable sources and promoting resilient infrastructure. Through technical assistance and planning, we offer guidance and strategies for how to prepare for a changing energy future.

SRPC hosts a Resiliency Subcommittee, who seeks to inform proactive regional resiliency and adaptation planning.
