Strafford Regional Planning Commission uses data to support the development of all of our plans and documents. The data that is used comes in a variety of formats and is used for different purposes. Some data are presented in maps, while others are used to track progress toward targets or to monitor current conditions. Our major data analysis products are maps, performance targets, and our regional Data Snapshot. All of these data products are critical for informing our plans and other initiatives.  

SRPC receives the majority of the data used from other sources, however some data is collected by SRPC staff. These data collection efforts are done primarily in the field during the summer. Some data are collected every year on a set schedule, while others are collected by request or for specific projects.
