Regional Impact Committee

The Regional Impact Committee has scheduled a meeting to review two new cases. In January, the Town of Nottingham declared a development of regional impact due to potential traffic impacts for a propsoed 17-home subsivision with frontage on Route 156. Also in January, the Town of Raymond declared a development of regional impact due to potential vehicle traffic impacts from a proposed development of over 100 units of multifamily housing. Regional Impact Committees are assembled to facilitate discussion about potential impacts from major developments on neighboring municipalities and act in an advisory role to the respective municipality’s land use boards.
