Development of Regional Impact Review
Overview
SRPC is responsible for providing input regarding Developments of Regional Impact as declared by local land use boards under RSA 36:54-58. Feedback from SRPC offers a regional perspective, acknowledging that actions in one community may influence lives, environment, and businesses in another. Potential noise and light, proximity to municipal boundaries, shared utility or school districts, and other relevant factors are all considered in regional impact reviews.
The reviews put together by staff are presented at a Regional Impact Committee meeting that is open to the public. The Regional Impact Committee is an official SRPC committee made up of Commissioners who have volunteered to participate.
