Public Comment Period: Madbury Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD 

The Strafford Regional Planning Commission and Town of Madbury announce that the updated draft plan is available for public review and comment. Madbury last revised the town’s Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) in 2019; this revision will run through 2030. The Town and SRPC staff met five times over six months to update the report with the goal of reducing long-term risk to human life, property, or business activity.
At this time, the Town invites all stakeholders, residents, board members, business owners, and neighboring towns to review the 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan and submit comments by Monday March 31, 2025.
