Bike to Work Day 2013 – Ruling the Road

May 13th marked the kick-off for this year’s Bike Walk to Work Week, which encouraged workers in the Seacoast area to ride, walk, or commute to work. Our very own intern Shayna Sylvia participated, riding from Dover to Rochester where our office is located.

The week culminated with multiple breakfast events across the Seacoast. Staff aided in the free commuter breakfast event held in Lee. In our region Dover, Durham/UNH, and Lee provided breakfast to bikers and walkers. Overall, the event was successful across the Seacoast. We hope it will encourage citizens to be more environmentally conscious in their future travels.
