Age-Friendly Resource Guide

The resources on this page are a key deliverable of the 2020-2023 Communities for Healthy Aging Transitions (CHAT) project. These age-friendly resources have been sorted into the eight ARRP livability domains: outdoor spaces and buildings, transportation, housing, social participation, respect and inclusion, work and civic engagement, communication and information, and community and health services.  Click on the name of the resource to learn more about it.

Civic Participation and Employment

Operation ABLE NH provides a variety of services including occupational and computer skills training, workshops, job search training and support, coaching and counseling, and some training programs offer internships.

New Hampshire Housing is a self-supporting public corporation that promotes, finances, and supports housing solutions for the people of New Hampshire. We operate rental and homeownership programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining affordable housing. We have helped more than 50,000 families purchase their own homes and been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 16,000 multifamily housing units.

For this project, SRPC visited all of the publicly-accessible recreation sites in the region, collected data at each site, and photographed each site. All of this information was compiled to create this interactive online tool, a resource that can connect you to the many recreation resources in our region.
